Commercial Pipe Flanges
Machining pipe flanges and specialty machined products for over 50 years.
Piping Supplies was started in the 1960’s manufacturing primarily high-pressure pipe flanges. This tradition of flange manufacturing continues today with over 50 years experience in the commercial and industrial piping industry. All items are machined at our manufacturing facility in Williamstown, New Jersey. Whether you need a custom flange or specialty machined part, our experts have you covered.
We have provided flanges for the petrochemical, power generation, process piping, heat exchanger, pressure vessel, and waterworks industries since 1960. Since our foundation, Piping Supplies’ mission has been to exceed our customers’ expectations for service and quality and to work to the highest standards in the industry. Today, it’s our great pleasure to offer every type of flange ranging from threaded to raised face flanges, and any other flange our customers may need. Our flanges include:
- Blind Flange – primarily used to terminate the end of a piping system, blind flanges are also frequently used when sealing the nozzle opening of a pressure vessel.
- Slip on Flange – a popular type of flange, a slip-on flange is a ring that is secured over a pipe end and is often used for cooling water lines.
- Lap Joint Flange – most commonly used with stub end fittings, lap joint flanges slide over the pipe and help prevent issues with bolt hole alignment.
- Weld Neck Flange – used in severe and harsh conditions, weld neck flanges are designed to be butt welded to most pipes.
- Threaded Flange – threaded flanges, otherwise known as companion flanges, are used with pipes that have external threads and do not require any welding.
- Socket Weld Flange – a type of flange most commonly used on smaller sizes of high-pressure pipes, socket weld flanges are installed using fillet welds.
- Reducing Flange – a specialty flange designed to fit together pipes of different sizes; reducing flanges come in various end preps such as butt-weld, socket-weld, threaded, and slip-on.
- Raised Face Flange – named after its raised gasket surfaces, the raised face flange is most commonly used in-plant applications.
- Pipe Flange – used to connect piping and other components in a piping system by either bolted connections, gaskets, or threads.
- ANSI Flange – manufactured according to ANSI’s approximately 9500 standards, ANSI flanges are high-performance flanges used in mechanical systems, assemblies, and structures.
- Steel and Alloy Flange – used in a variety of applications ranging from commercial to military use, these types of flanges are often sought after for the anti-corrosive properties.
- Stainless Steel Flange – highly resistant to rust, stainless steel flanges are stronger and more resilient compared to other carbon steel flanges
- Aluminum Flange – often preferred for its lightweight structure, aluminum flanges come in a variety of shapes and sizes, at a reduced and affordable cost.
